Bush claims that Social Security is going bankrupt, which it would not be so if his administration wouldn't keep tapping into it for other things. If this is true, why have the cards?

Clinton told the IRS to register everyone who was born in the US. This way the government could keep track of who was cheating on their taxes by claiming to many children.
Bush is right when he said that social security is going bankrupt but no one seems to want to do any thing about it.

If the goverment doesn't have enough money, they just print some more-it's called inflation. If Mr. Bush wanted to be accurate he would say SSN has the potential to be inflationary, but the federal goverment cannot be bankrupt.

If you only had a clue... They come up with this every election. Its a button topic used to incite the retired comunity. Baby boomers being a large voting population.

Serveral programs are bankrupt, they just throw more money at them. We do print money remember.
