if a girl gives you her number how long do you wait before calling her?

About a two days so I can keep her guessing and make sure she doesn't think I'm totally obsessed. If she says "Call me tonight" though I'll call when she says to. I try to be a good person.

More detail to your question would help to be honest with you. Did SHE give me the number, or did I ask for the number? That certainly depends. Then it matters where in the world I was when I got the number. If it was at school and I know her, probably call her that night (assuming I was still in school), but if it was at the bar, chances are good unless I asked for her number, probably never.

At least a day, but I don't have a formula. I like to call when I've either just finished doing something fun or am in the middle of doing something fun. That way I have something fun to talk about or have an excuse to get off the phone if the conversation gets stale.

Depends if he likes you or not. Personally, if a girl gives me her number I just assume that I am only one of many guys she gave her number to. It also depends on the situation.

there are strict rules for this. if you get the number on Friday or Saturday night, and you like her, you have to call on the following Tuesday. If you call sooner, you're desperate, and if you call later, she will always have plans.
if you call, say, on Thursday, and she says she doesn't have plans, she has an STD, or halitosis, or she wears a colostomy bag, or has a rubber foot. You wanna hear some great stories?

It depends on how much you are feeling the girl.
Never the same night or day after but I never let it go past the weekend after she gave it to me. Ex. She gave it to me monday, she would prolly get the call either thursday night or friday so we could make plans.

i got a girls number a while back...i called her the next day, but she wasn't home... but then again, that's just me, on account i NEVER get girl's numbers...

the hotter thay are, the longer, if theyre super hot: like almost a week. sorta hot: 5 days, cute: 3, and not cute: 2, and dont call them the next day, it seems despaerate
