I had sex with my bf and i am 12 weeks pregnant. Is it safe? But while we were doing it, it was painful for me. Is this NORMAL? We did it 4 times. Hehe. I was wondering if my baby is okay? I'm really scared. I hope I didn't hurt my baby at all.

Your baby's fine. There's no way it could have been hurt during sex unless your boyfriend was really really rough. If it was painful for you, whether pregnant or not, I'd say stop. But thats me. Anyway, pregnancy sex is fine as long as both parties take it easy. If your worried, check with your doctor. They should be able to make sure the baby's fine and probably give you a fefw tips in case of future pregnancy sex.

It is 100% safe to have sex while pregnant. As a matter of fact, it benefits the baby because during the act more endorphins (ie the happy hormone) are released into your body and that is very healthy for the baby. You cannot hurt the baby... he or she is in a very thick protective fluid sac (amniotic sac) that is way up in your uterus which your boyfriend could never reach. Sometimes it is recommended to have sex even in the 9th month to help trigger labor. The pain should be discussed with your doctor, but since your body is going through a lot of changes its prolly normal. Or it could be the sign of an infection, so really do talk to your doc. Don't be shy ... he or she knows how you got pregnant in the first place!

well I had 3 children and with two of them I did not know that I was pregnant with them until I was about 15 weeks along; I was having sex up until then. While I am not a nurse or doctor, I can tell you that you did not hurt your baby, but the pain I am not sure of. Really no need to be scared, but you will want to inquire about the pain during intercourse, however, I don't think you need to worry about that either. Hope that I was able to help calm your nerves a little bit and congrats? on your baby. oh yeah......sex is great while you are pregnant that is until you get to big to enjoy it anymore!

Sex during pregnancy is all right as long as it is comfortable. You may just be apprehensive and therefore a little tense during sex. I'm sure the baby is not hurt. It is enclosed in a fluid filled sac and your cervix is closed. You still need to protect yourself against STD's The barn door being open, so to speak, doesn't mean all the horses are out! Practicing safer sex (condoms) is still a very good idea. As a Christian I do not advocate premarital sex. Have you considered marriage to your boyfriend? Not judging, just a suggestion. It takes two to make a child and it takes two or raise one also. Some people do it alone, but it is so much harder. Consider marriage. Practice safer sex. Get prenatal care and ask your doctor questions you may have. Keep a journal with questions for him and his answers. During exams you may feel rushed or excited and forget what you want to ask or what was said.
Good luck to you.

I would talk to the doctor about the pain. Unless your doctor says otherwise, having sex while pregnant is perfectly fine.

Umm sometimes sex is painful, unless your BF is a horse or hung like one he wouldn't ever get even close to your baby.

Sex is perfectly safe during pregnancy unless your doctor has told you not to for some medical reason.

See your DR you need to be on prenatal vitamins and have proper care. The DR can tell you what is safe for you and what is not. It all depends on what is going on with you and your baby, its not the same for everyone.
