A "rebate" from any company is just another way of saying, we'll give you your money back next year...sucker.

I don't do rebates and I advise against it for anyone who is considering purchasing something with a rebate offer. They cause more stress than they are worth, and they take forever and a damn day to get back.

Don't worry, you'll get your rebate, but it won't be anytime soon.

The rebates are legit but you have to make sure they do not screw you..

1) Always read the fine prints and expiration of the rebate
2) Photocopy or scan your receipts!!!! Trust me, I had seen my rebate letter disappear (either by US Postal or the rebater)
3) They have to offer a site or phone number to keep track of your rebate.

Greatly, do not try to get mail in rebate but instant off. Why, they can't tax you for instant rebate in comparison to mail-in-rebate. Most mail-in-rebate last 4-6 wks for the rebate check to be deliverd (I had to wait for $400 mail in rebate for 7 weeks)

ALL rebates are B.S. ALL of them. They figure if you are broke enough that you send in the rebate (at a loss to your privacy, I might add), then you won't have the money to pursue them not sending you the money they promised you. But good luck. Just don't hold your breath.

Hey there, yah they take your money fast, but dont seem to give you your rebate back as fast as they take your money, and it takes like 2 months for your rebate to get to you!!

If they give you that much hassle and you live within the U.S., file a complaint with your state's Attorney General's office.
