yes there is a relay on that car that makes the fan come on,,if it doesn't it will eventually run hot on you,,and so some damage to the engine,,you need to take it and have it checked,, i have ran across this problem in my shop before,,and what i found was a fusible link burned in to,,it was one of the ones that comes off the starter,,after repairing it,,the fan worked good,,but the relay on these car,s go bad a lot,,more than usual,,and no one know,s why,,they just do,,but get it looked at as soon as possible,,before you damage something,,hope this help,s.

Check for a switch on the fan at the radiator. It will probably be small and screw in

Probably a bad switch or loose wire to the switch, pull the dash and see if you can jiggle the wires to make it come on.

what does the engine fan have to do with AC. don't you mean your blower motor?
