I was thinking of renting Under The Tuscan Sun,but before i do what is it about,and is it any good?

summary:
After Frances's seemingly happy San Francisco marriage ends abruptly, she goes into a funk. Urged by her friends to move on, she joins a bus tour of Tuscany where, on the spur of the moment, she buys a crumbling villa. She assembles a crew of oddballs and immigrants to repair the house; over the next year, as they work, she welcomes one of her New York friends who's pregnant and at loose ends, and she seeks love, first (tenuously) with her married real estate agent, then with a charming stranger. Although life gets in the way of love, Frances's wishes come true in unexpected ways, and there's always the Tuscan sun.

If you read the book don't rent the movie, they are not really alike and the book is much better. Otherwise the movie is okay.

I haven't seen that one. I almost picked it out for a rental and then thought , its probably another romantic movie and I wasn't in the mood for it.
I heard it was good for a woman's movie.

It is about a woman who moves to Italy and the culture clash that ensues.
A good "chick flick", it is one of the Top Ten films of my wife.

Both my husband & I really enjoyed it. My son & his wife told us about it.
Of course this is subjective.. it's an adult movie & may not appeal to a young teen. It's clever, beautifully filmed, & a bit sweet.

Yeah, I like girly movies but that was one of the worst ones I've seen. IT SUCKS MAJOR MONKEY BALLS!

I recommend it. It's definitely a chick flick, which i don't usually care for, but this one was done well.
