1. Put in some spare video cards i have around
2. Hooked up monitor to another computer, works perfect.
3. Keep the computer and monitor off for several hours.

The fans in the computer are working normal, there are no beeps in the machine, now I have no idea what the problem could be....the computer worked great before and now its just doing this.....any other suggestions i could try???

If your computer were a laptop then it could have been that the display setting was set to show on the LCD screen but not the external one. And then the monitor would act as you described. But in this case it sounds like you need to try another monitor on this workstation. If two monitors don't work, and you're not hearing ANY sounds when the computer boots, it may well not be booting at all. You should hear two beeps when the computer starts telling you all is well.

Try reseating all of the cards in the machine, then remove the extras one by one for all non-essential components. If it still doesn't work then you're down to trying to see if the hard drive will boot in a different machine, checking the power supply, the memory and the CPU.

When you put the spare vid cards in did they work? If it worked once you switched cards then it's the card. If it still doesn't work you should try switching out the following things in order: power supply, memory, processor. If it still doesn't work or if you're not comfortable with switching those out then you need to take it to a professional who can diagnose it.

Hey there, it could be your video card, that needs to be updated, or that you updated windows recently, and it could cause that too.
Try removing the video card, or try to hook it up to another monitor and try to reinstall windows on it!!

You probably have a bad motherboard. A technician can check that for you. Do all the keys on your keyboard work?

It sounds like it's going into hibernate mode immediately. I don't have a solution, but that's what it sounds like.
