Well, I'm of two schools of thought.

On one hand, it's not a done deal and you and your ex's best friend are not in a real relationship yet. So give it time and see what happens. If you come out to the ex too soon, and you both don't work out, you are back to square one. alone.

On the other hand, what you do, is not the Ex's business any more, so tell her that you are dating her best friend. She may not like it, but it's up to her to honor her friendship with her friend, and her friendship with you.

I think you should go with telling her, as it's better that she hear it from you and he best friend, before she hears it from somebody else.

Good luck.

well you are divorced, but if your x's best friend is a true friend she should have told her or should be telling her this instead of you. No matter who she hears it from, you are in for an *** chewing buddy!! BIG TIMES>> Something tells me though you dated her while married , and if you did, shame on you... There are alot of people out there to date, why would you even consider doing that to your x unless your first intentions were to hurt her., and trust me, this will do it.. I personally wouldn't blame her is she never spoke to either one of you again. My opinion.

Well, assuming that you both got divorced under the same understandings, then it should not matter. If you are really worried, consider how you would feel if she started dating your best friend.
