I downloaded Ethereal to get my packets. But I don't know what all of that stuff means. Can somebody help me out please?

These are always listed in the headers at the front of each packet. Remember, each packet has a limit of a little over (think, think pooh said, sorry, its been a while since College) of a little over 1,400 -1,500 bytes or so. So the headers can't take up alot of information or you can't send much information with each packet.

Betty, take some courses in networking, such as CCNA courses.

Did you click on the arrows to the left of the messages? They will expand to show more details, some of which may help you.

Still, you should take a course - there are a lot of details and they are different from one packet to another. Or, get a friend who is a network person to help you - in person. You would need to post the messages and get a lot of replies in order to understand them all.

well it can b possible by usin some good "packet sniffer" softwares....try to search it on net................u can also lof on to www.nettool.com or some similar sites.............................cuterelations
