Actually read the story of Mithra who was worshipped as god about 600 years prior to when Jesus supposedly walked the earth. You'll find christianity copied heavily from the story of Mithra.

There are no reasonable correlations between Zeus and Jesus . . .
1)Jesus was reportedly God in human form, Zeus was never human in any way (except, perhaps, for his incredible propensity for infidelity)
2)Jesus is painted as a "suffering servant", Zeus is depicted as the all-powerful ruler of the Gods
3)Jesus was focused on the fate of all mankind, Zeus was only interested in objects for his infidelity (or the offspring thereof), he showed very little compassion or concern for the human race
etc, etc, etc
BTW, Jesus was not depicted as being tall with a white beard . . .
Also, Mithraism was part of the "mystery religions" that were strictly reserved for men only and involved "secret knowledge" and ceremonies (hence the designation)--Although there were some similarities to Christianity in general concerning moral behavior and a call to a chaste life, both systems were distinctly different and exclusive of oneanother.

the notion of Jesus, his birthday and stuff like that were pagan derivatives from when the early Christians were trying to convert people. The depiction of god (as the old man with a long grey beard) is where the link with Zeus is.

definitely not! Jesus is the son of God. He is a real historical person that lived, died, and rose from the dead. He is definitely not a facsimile of Zeus either.

He could be considering that the church often took many of the pagan holiday's and gods/ goddesses and turned them into Cristian saints and holiday's. i mean, look at Christmas, did you know that December 25th is actually a pagan Holiday and that when the church set that date, it was to make the church look better and seem more fun in the eyes of the people and to try and convert them to the "true" religion of Christianity? so yea, its completely possible that Jesus is actually Zeus.

Christianity is a Pagan construct. So perhaps Jesus is too.

His common image certainly is. The popular depiction of a tall, white bearded man was most likely taken from a statue of zeus.

No, he was a radical Jewish sect leader whose story was strongly edited in the first few centuries AD for marketing purposes.
