If you're talking about ALL heroes, I once read a comic called "Dishman". It was about a guy who finds he can cause dirty dishes to become clean at will. He tries to use his powers for good, but just ends up losing his wife.
Among popular heroes (meaning DC and Marvel stuff), I've always found Mal from the old Teen Titans to be particularly useless. He was a Black kid whose only power seemed to be that he was the Titan's token Black member. As a Black kid myself at the time, I noticed he had another power. He was fervently annoying.
And this may tick some of you off, but I think the Punisher is fairly lame. I can't get behind a SUPERHERO whose power is... wow... A GUN! Plus the fact that he's a blatant rip-off of a book series called the "Executioner" which I never liked either, but at least it was original. And before you argue against that, do ten minutes of research. It's the same character with a different name. Always wondered how Marvel avoided the lawsuit...

i imagine Bruce Wayne / Batman may be the perfect one status. Why? he's wise, and could purely inspect human beings bold to vote him off. Flash may maximum in all probability be the weakest link - reason he`ll answer too quick, and err too a lot. Banking - ooh.. good one. I wouldn`t understand, quite. Scott Summers perchance.

Are you kidding?! Robin (Dick Grayson) is one of the best fighters in the DCU! Robin (Tim Drake) is an excellent detective! I'm going with Vibe.
