Christmas, because it's not really about Christ's birth, hey did you know that December 25th was no where NEAR the date that Christ was said to be born??? If the shepherds were out in the fields with their flocks that woud have put his birth around spring, not mid winter. The dates was picked because it's near the winter solstice and it was in effort by the church to attract pagan worshipers to Christianity by fusing the two religions together. Anyway, everyone gets moody and has to be crammed together with relatives they don't converse with the rest of the year but for 24 hours (or however long) they pretend they LOVE enough to spend money on. I think it's a holiday of and for phonies... a few people make it about the religious aspect of the holiday and I think that's GREAT! But the majority of the people don't. It's the season of giving? BS! You should be generous EVERYDAY in every season of the year. Next to Christmas I hate Valentine's Day... mostly because growing up most of mine sucked, and now that I'm married, I often spend Valentine's Day ALONE, thank you america for reminding me that while the rest of you are being adorned with flowers, chocolates, and romantic dinners, I'm at home alone with my kids while my husband is deployed (yet again) and maybe getting shot at! Thanks for rubbing it in that I'm ALONE!!! Okay, honestly I'm not a bitter person... I like Halloween, you get to dress up and eat Candy YEAH!

I love all holidays! Seriously, I will celebrate anything! Cinco de Mayo, Okay, Thanksgiving, yummy, ooooh, Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year. I'll hide the Easter eggs too, and the 4th of July, what a sight!!! I won't go on, but I could. How could you hate a holiday? They are so much fun.

i'm the choice now, yet I used to hate trip journeys. It became and is, very obtrusive that the expectancies surrounding trip journeys and the hype are a component of why the suicide value is so intense at those situations, and why counseling is at an all time intense. however the trick is to launch your self into assisting others, esp. little ones companies, as though we've been all to flow the place your questioning is, the losers could be the toddlers of the worldwide. So why no longer placed your emotions to a minimum of one section for a at the same time as, and spot how for some days, you may make the worldwide a extra useful place.

I know its not technically a "Holiday" but i hate birthdays, mine, my best friends, any ones, because you are only getting older. then there are the people who are so full of self importance and seem to think they should be the center of everyone friggin world, you give them a present that is usually exchanged within a week (which is why i don't give gift receipts tee hee hee) for something they really wanted, not to mention birthday smacks! WHO THE HELL CAME UP WITH THAT PAINFUL IDEA!!!... so yea birthdays just all around suck! Oh and cynco De mayo, mostly because I'm not 21 yet (yes that ties into the whole birthday thing!)

What I hate is the guise that holiday's are holy. Most holidays are based on ancient pagan rites and really have no place in christian religion. But what people celebrate really has no affect on me.

Valentine's Day: It's only a day for retailers to charge you an exorbitant amount of money just so you can express to someone that you love them, which should be done all the time anyway, without a "holiday" telling us to do it.

Easter. I am the resident "dress up in the bunny costume and had out carrots girl", and the costume is suffocating and smells like children. I don't like the religious connotations and I don't like the jelly beans. I also have a habit of eating the entire chocolate bunny in one day, then feeling ill for hours.

Christmas. I love the spiritual part of it but I hate all the gifts. I love the decorations and singing and shows and all that, but I hate to give and receive gifts--too materialistic and it is just a way for businesses to take advantage of us. It is soooo wrong!!!!
