Just wondering who you guys thought was better...
I personaly think mariah is better.. i think she as more talent with that high note of hers... and i also think she is beautiful, as well

I can't answer this well....it's like comparing apples and b-a-n-a-n-a-s ;)
Mariah is a "diva" b/c she's been around literally for over a decade and made a comeback in ways that many others could only dream of...She's not the typical conformist musician, but rather unique...she's proud of her shape even though it's not necessarily the "standard" (she's gorgeous!) and yeah, she can break glass with her high notes...
Gwen is a modern day icon, but seems too down to earth to move to "diva" status (as far as the Hollywood prototypes go) and she is also married to a celebrity, which says alot for her character....her music is good, but I liked her earlier stuff (Tragic Kingdom) alot better than the recent stuff...she seems to have moved to hip hop/rap rock to please the masses and while still overwhelmingly successful, she's beautiful and true to herself...she's just not achieved the diva status that Mariah has and I'm not sure she'll have the staying power... great question!

I think Gwen Stefani is so much better than Mariah Carey...Mariah just gives off a bad attitude all together...she reminds me of those girls back in high school who thought they were all that.....and believe me if I had to choose who to friends with, I would choose Gwen in a heartbeat......

Well, I think they're both talented - in different ways. But, i would have to say Mariah Carey just because she's more experienced, she has a stronger voice, and she's more successful (not that Gwen Stefani isn't successful).

Can't really compare these two. However, I love Mariah Carey. I like Gwen also. Different styles but, both very good singers.

Well Mariah does got the voice but i mean she is like almost 40! and she is wearing clothes that she shouldn't be wearing at her age..
But I still like Gwen better

I'm not too fond of either of them, but I'd have to say Mariah. She actually SINGS, while Gwen shouts about fruit. (no offense to Gwen fans out there!)
