1) 7/8+ 3 1/4= 4 1/8
2) 5 1/9-2/3= 4 4/9, which would be closest to 4 1/2
3) 4/15+8/15= 12/15
4) 9 5/6 divided by 2 1/8= 4.6274, which would be closest to 4 1/2
5) 6 divided by 1/2= 3
