Planet Of The Apes is my favorite...not only was his acting great but it was a fantastic story as well.

Of the two, Ben Hur - awesome story, incredible cast of stars, well filmed, great performance by Charlton Heston.
My favorite recent performance by Charlton Heston, tho, is in the film Almost an Angel with Paul Hogan - Charlton has a brief cameo as God (what else?!!) & it's hysterical - showing off his comedic side which isn't usually seen in any of his other works!
