If you are serious , go ahead and kiss him , see the magic , if he is also have the same feeling , he will certainly hold you tight and will reciprocate with full energy . I am confident , if he has no feeling , he will simply ignore your move as a joke and friendship will continue as a matter of routine as usual . So give a try .

I was for 2 years and I told him. It was the best thing I ever did. I told him I didn't feel I could be his friend if he didn't know. He handled it well and said he used to like me but not anymore, but because of my honesty we have become closer than ever. Most of the time they can sence when you are hiding something.

i know you probably heard this before but the best thing to do is tell him the worst thing that can happen is he doesnt like (or love) you back. as long as you 2 can still be friends. if you two are close he will probably return the feelings

Yes, you never know he may have the same feelings and be afraid to tell you and then look at the time you've wasted by not shareing and being honest with him.
