My favorite shoes in order are Asics DS Trainer, Adidas Supernova Classic, and Asics 2100.
I worked at a running store so I've run in about 100 pairs of running shoes. These are the one's that work for my feet. Doesn't mean they'll work for you.

Stick with asics. My wife does.

i use to run in adidas only but felt discomfort with the last 2 pairs so i switched to saucony and i have to say they are the best running shoes i have ever owned. its like running on air.

I wore reeboks but they are uncomfortable.... I like any old brand really the only brand I can ever afford was from payless so yeah... but their shoes are cool. I prefer wearing flip flops to shoes though
