i just want to no why people listen to differnt bands. i listen to alot of metal/rock/ punk/ alternitive and random songs i like. i love to listen to and play music.

At least right now, my favorite bands are Bad Religion and Led Zeppelin. For Led Zeppelin, I like how the beats are set up. The drumming style is much different from a lot of bands. And we played a few Led Zeppelin songs in orchestra at my school (one of our teachers is AMAZING at arranging rock songs for orchestra). As for Bad Religion, I like the energy in their music. And angry music seems to help me relieve stress (not sure how, but it works). I've been listening to Led Zeppelin for years, I first got into Bad Religion a couple years ago, my cousin got me interested in them.

Operation Ivy for great lyrics that have meaning even if it's dark but still keeping an upbeat great sounding music that'll make you want to dance or just jump around. Too bad they only lasted 2 years.

I have been a huge Metallica and Pink Floyd fan since I was in 3rd grade [i'm 23].
I am a true fan and love everything they have ever put out. I do not think either of them are sellouts, unless you mean they sell out every show.
Lyrics, Rhythm, Melody, Riffs, Anthems, Ballads
they got it all

For some reason Led Zeppelin has always done the trick for me. They always sound so current and fresh even after 35 years or so. I play guitar as well and there is always something to be learned from Jimmy Page, even though I have other influences as well.
