Which is better: "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" or "Superman Returns"?

There are two very important factors to consider when pondering this question. 1) Superman Returns is a very good movie and 2) Dead Man's Chest is a terrible mov...well actually, I don't even want to call it a movie.

Superman Returns was not your typical comic book movie, which is why there are a lot of haters out there. No, it wasn't anti-American; whoever said that is a buffoon. Criticizing your country, as long as it is done with due respect, is not anti-American...it is the responsible duty of a patriot. Besides, Superman is pretty much the most patriotic American icon ever.

Dead Man's Chest was what Superman was not: a crowd pleaser. It was written for one purpose: make money. They brought back way too many characters and references from the first movie (which was awesome) in a shallow attempt to take the short-cut, easy way out to reel in the people who were fans of the first movie. The plot was non-sensical, the characters static, and the whole premise was ridiculous.

Superman wins.

I liked Pirates better, though that might be because I'm not a big Superman fan. I did like the Superman Returns movie, but that might be because it was the only Superman movie my friend was able to make me sit the whole way through. I had a feeling the kid was his because I saw enough of the other movies to know that Lois wouldn't have sex with anyother guy.
