Better or worse than the first movie?

Yes, I thought it was awesome. Most of the time sequels arent great, but this one was. It had everything, romance, action, and mystery, and a big shock, but make sure you have seen the first POTC movie first.

Pirates 2 is as good as advertised. Do not listen to the critics, the movie was great. My kids and I can't wait for Pirates 3!

Way better then the first...the cliffhanger sucked though...I guess to make sure everyone comes back to see what happens next. And if you're a big Jack or Will fan...you will hate Elizabeth by the end of the movie, trust me.

I think it's worse than the first movie, but just a tad. The first movie had a little more humor (I think), and the 2nd one was a little bit more serious. It still follows up the first movie very well though.

I definitely prefered the first one, the second seemed as if they were just trying too hard to make a sequel. Way to special effects-happy , I thought the special effects were waaay overdone. It was an amusing movie, though I enjoyed it but I liked the first better.

The movie is pretty cool. I really recomend it. I can't tell if it's better or worse than the first because I don't really remember the first movie. ( what I really liked from the movie was Orlando Bloom.... mmmmmmmm.)

In my opinion, I thought it was better than the first. Both are great, yes, but I think the second is the best of two so far.

the 2d Pirates action picture is called "Pirates of the Caribbean: lifeless guy's Chest" and the 0.33 action picture which is composed of theaters ought to 25 is called "Pirates of the Caribbean: At international's end."

It was equally as good as the first movie...but everyone I know...thinks the 2cnd was better. I think I would just consider them one long movie...part one and part two...and then there is no comparison...It is all good.
