I agree with Sassy, totally! You should giver her the 10 points, that answer deserves it. It is very well thought out and it makes sense. In choisng her answer you will be giving her 10 points and she will be 10 points closer to another level. Also you get points for choosing a best answer as well and you will be that amount of points closer to another level. So everyone wins, except for those whose answers you won't pick as the best answer, .................lol........So are you persuaded?

I'm not really sure what to write about, so I'll say what's been annoying me lately.

Kay, there's this boy in my Japanese class. No, I don't like him that way, and I'm fairly certain he doesn't think too highly of me either. Anyway, he always comes late to class. And not just the normal five minutes late, oh no, he comes ten, fifteen, even twenty minutes late to class and makes noise while doing so. Then he talks basically the entire class with his friend.

Normally this wouldn't bug me, but lately I've been noticing that he's been trying to hand in his homework at the end of class when it's due at the beginning. Luckily, my teacher isn't an idiot, so she said that if he does it again, she won't accept it.

Also, during our last conversation lab (we have to take a conversation lab with languages), he had the gall to try and read his Psychology textbook during class. Normally this would work and the teacher wouldn't care, but the labs have only eight people. I mean, don't be an idiot! The teacher can see you. And when the teacher took away his textbook, because she obviously noticed him reading it, he tried to object and say that he had a test tomorrow.

Okay, I'm taking Psychology too, and was I reading my textbook during the lab? No. I had studied ahead of time. It was just appalling to me at how much of an idiot he was being. I have a feeling I'm going to speak to him about it eventually, and ask him how the hell he can have the gall to object to a teacher taking away his textbook for a different class because he's not paying attention.

So yeah! That's what's been annoying me lately.

The answer to many of the worlds' problems is to eliminate selfishness. Thinking about this statement should be enough to persuade anyone, but here is some support:

Selfishness is the root cause when humans deliberately cause other humans to suffer. For example, war, murder, robbery, and rape obviously have their roots in selfishness.

The same could be said for slavery, child abuse, and identity theft.

Eliminate selfishness, and you eliminate a lot of suffering.

How, is another question.

Ok..

Here goes...

Did you know that the US Government has a requirement for any new car manufacturers to install a tiny "black box" in all new cars beginning in 1995?

This tiny black box records continuously from the interior of the car but it holds only 10 seconds.... so in the event of an accident that deploys the air-bag... this tiny black box holds the last 10 seconds of sound from inside the car.

This year the government finished a 10 year study of these tiny black boxes recovered from accidents and they released their findings... some of them... about the most common phrases used just prior to an accident...

In 49 of 50 states... the most common phrase (uhmmm.. toned down for language reasons) is "Oh No!!!"

Texas is the only exception... In Texas the most common phrase heard is "Here, Hold my beer. I'm gonna try something!"

JUST KIDDING!!!

Gas is going up. With the middle eat problems, it could even be $4 by Labor Day. Besides it is best for the Earth anyway.

Buy a hybrid car now.

I answered this way to another question before:

If you see someone who appears to have a "dirty job", just remember to treat the garbage man/mechanic/ditch digger with the same, if not more respect, than your doctor, lawyer, banker, or teacher(s). The reason is because if you go 30 days without seeing any of them, then guess who becomes the most important.

Oh yes that there really is a parallel universe, and that is why we keep hearing about doubles of ourselves walking around but we never run into them ourselves because it would cause a flux in the universe. And who knows which one would disappear.

Always, when reading comic books, choose Marvel over DC. Marvel is more creative, more colorful, and honestly is slightly more realistic, at least in terms of locations. Not to mention much more color characters.
