The fighting is escalating all over the Middle East and countries from all over the world are being affected and eventually will be drawn into the fighting.

I think it could, it seems like, cause lebanon and isreal and the middle east and it just seems to get worse, so who knows? It could begin a world war 3.

I think so. I would be interested to know precisely when WW2 was designated as such. I know from reading history that certainly in the early years of WW2 (what was called the "phoney war") they were not calling it WW2 in the UK - it was "the war with Germany".
I was always taught that WW2 began in September 1939, but I have also heard that for some Americans they were taught that it began when the USA entered the fray, like it didn't become a World War until they joined in. I'm sure I'll be put right on that if I'm wrong!
Your question assumes that there will be a history post WW3!

They say that the main event as far as America goes is the, I think Hezbollah/ Beirut Bombing of the US & French Embassies 20 years ago. After that bombing it showed the terrorist that they could change American Foriegn Policy. But you probably will be correct that 9/11 for America, will be the defining date that America took a stand against World Wide Terrorism.The FREE & Democratic/Undeveloped Countries of this world still have a choice because we are free to choose our destinies. WWIII may have another date in the future though, it has not been said offically yet that we are in WWWIII. I wonder who is the official decider? ^

I think it will be a factor not the real cause look at what's happening today. It just seems like the people in the middle east want the world to end

Who knows yet there are in basic terms some countries contained in the nuclear membership. usa of america, Russia, Britain and France. India, Pakistan and North Korea have all examined those guns. Israel is likewise theory to own atomic bombs. i imagine using those guns by any of those countries is maximum not likely and that may be the in basic terms way that WW3 might want to initiate

Everything has a cause, including 9/11. Dates are decided by historians (who have a habit of saying things that are false).
The date is of no consequence; its prevention is.

I think it officially began on May 14, 1948. That is when Israel was created.
