The simple fact that just a phone call or visit from a close friend can change your whole day around and cheer you up? Some people have such an impact on our lives that whenever we are around them, talking to them, or even just thinking of them....that so much joy arises in our souls?

Not weird at all! Friends are treasures. It's the one form of relationship that is totally voluntary. You HAVE to spend time with coworkers--at least at work, and FAMILY--well, you're born into that. But friends can come or go at will. The fact that your friends have a big impact on your life tells me that you must be a pretty good friend yourself!

I feel ya. An xmas card arrived from my friend who's away at a service academy, and it made my day, because we had just become friends like 6 months before she sent me the card, and to know that she was thinking of me as a friend and even showed it by sending me the card, it made me happy. Because it takes so much effort just to even find a card, and for her to do that, well I appreciated.

i think it'd be great... some people say i'm like that, and i don't get it. (it bugs me too sometimes depending on who says it, because they don't know the whole me... i've got a wonderful split personality... think Haru from fruits basket, but instead of violent, just snappish) But, i love the effect i have on some people though, and it's also just the greatest thing to hear it. like my friend nick said that i'm always laughing, and i say, it's better than never laughing, and he starts laughing 2. it's just unfair because just about all of the people i'm around a lot just aren't like that... but its nice knowing that i matter to someone... whenever u meet someone like that, be sure to tell them what they mean to u... these people are far and few between, and i'm proud to be one of them... and, reading ur question... i think u r too.

No I think thats what happens when were in a a bad space to bring us out of it show us that we to mean something to someone and there is reason for our existance... If thats weird count me as weird..
