There is a link to the left of this box as I type my answer.. it is labeled... "Community Guidelines"
In my opinion...
1. Some people are not trying to ask a question.. they are just purposefully trying to cause anger and hate between others... they deserve to be reported
2. Others post questions in here.. that have nothing to do with the category.. knowing full well that it will offend people in this area that might not otherwise see it if it were posted in the correct category
3. If you post something that is KNOWN to cause offense and anger in the recent past.. and you post it again... are you not purposely trying to cause offense and anger?
4. If you get even ONE of those... saying it is inappropriate and that you are reported.. would you not wonder why? and perhaps change your method of asking questions?.... unless... you were TRYING to offend.

Well, the people posting offensive "questions" shouldn't post anything inappropriate in the first place, or they're asking for it. This isn't a site for humour, it's a site for help, suggestions, and ideas. Bear that in mind.

Yes, the media had force fed people on political correctness for so long that it has just made us a society of complainers about every little thing someone says or does.

The "you have been reported" crap sounds a whole lot like a tattle tale child screaming cause some buddy else got the last popsicle.

If a person uses terms of abuse or is really offensive to others, he should be reported - why not? why let him/her go with abusing people?
though, me personally, haven't reported anybody yet... I'm pretty cool about idiots out here.

Some people are thin skinned jerks who look for a reason to report people to vent their own frustration at their inadequacies.
Take TheMrWilk for example.

being offended is in the eyes of the individual. the best comment I ever heard was to not attribute to malice what can be explained by thoughtlessness. One of my pet obseverations is the one of the "bad boy" whizzing on a vehicle mfg's name. I always think "what is so wrong with your own vehicle that you have to tear others down to make yours look good to you?"
