Click on the gray square icon with the smiley face. Then click on Edit My Info. Then choose a picture of a Yahoo! Avatar under Picture.

then everything should be in alpha order
select avatar and begin to create.

if u go to an avatar page u can select a predefined avatars or u can upload ur own avatar image from your pc.

You click on the place where it goes and that will take you to your page. There click on edit profile and you will see it from there a few things down.
