Depends on what you want in a gaming console
Xbox - Graphic power, a few "must have games", lots of FPS and racing, easily modded
PS2 - Not great in graphics, best game library with most "must have games", good variety on games, but lots of Actions and RPG
Gamecube - Middle ground in graphics, good number of "must have" games (well for cube anyway, hard to call them must haves when most of them are Mario titles in some way), most innovative games , Mario party titles are awesome with 4 people, as are most mario sport titles onluy found on cube. Lots of exclusivity (and lots of games never hit cube too so it's a trade off).
Pick which ever fits you best if you ask me. Personally I prefer the ps2 for game library and I have the most fun with the games present there (I hate FPS and racing games for the most part)

Gamecube, those games are generally for the younger audiences. Except maybe Resident Evil 4. PS2, it has something for everyone. Games of all kinds, from the Sims, to Psychonauts, to Resident Evil 4, to the Final Fantasy series, to Sly Cooper. And it has a few kid games. Xbox, mainly for shooters. Dominated by one main genre.

Don't get both, get the ps3 instead. I heard it comes with bluetooth...to make life easier for u. I got ps2 and my sis got the xbox, well both have good graphics but the problem with xbox, there are not so many games u can get out there wherelse, for ps2 or 3..u can get the game cd's everywhere u go.

X-BOX unless you want More rpg games like FF and kingdom of hearts that's why i wanted the PS2 but i still got the Xbox and they have good RPG games

i have an xbox... it has better graphics and some good games.. ps2 has an extensive number of games.. while gamecube is just for little kids (a gamecube exclusive was Winnie the Pooh Adventures)... so i'd go with xbox

I love PS2, but it depends on what kind of games you want. Some console carry games you can't get on others.

They are all good but if you only get one (i say same up buy all the new ones)but ps2 has good games.

Supernintendo...its a classic and genius
nowadays go for ps2...they are coming out with ps3 soon if you wait
