In the normal computer environment (ex. home or office) you would be using the internet provided by your service provider. The Internet is a network of networks, linking computers to computers sharing the TCP/IP protocols. In the military we have different classes of networks like NIPR (unclass) and SIPR (secret). You can get any internet provider to work on your computer as long as you have a usb or ethernet port.
