This Friday, "Monster House" opens at theatres nationwide. It is an animated family film executive produced by Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis and featuring the voices of Steve Buscemi, Nick Cannon, and Maggie Gyllenhaal. Will you see it in theatres, wait for DVD, wait for TV, or pass on it entirely?

I WILL be seeing it when it opens!! I've been looking forward to it for some time - it's gonna be a great movie. Only problem I have with it is the release date/time - I think if they were to release it closer to Halloween it probably would do a lot better. It takes place in Autumn - why wouldn't they try to capitalize on the scary aspect of it? - it just looks like a fun flick to watch before going out Trick or Treating! I'll see it in the theater AND buy the dvd ASAP!

Wait for DVD. Going to the movies is far too expensive, far too noisey, and the audio mixes are either terrible when the movie is put together, or the theaters are set up for everything sounding like "rap" boombox sounds. It's awful.
