They both cost about the same, by around 200 bucks.

I would say choose the Yamaha. Seadoos have always been bad about having mechanical problems, mainly electrical. Yamahas tend to have the better machine with the best market value. There are also many choices with the Yamaha Waverunner to choose from. Seadoo is a well known brand known internationally, but those that I have talked to always mention some kind of mechanical problem.
