Sunshine and fresh air will do wonders. Take a walk, paying attention to your surroundings. Listen to the birds chirping and the wind blowing the trees before you even realize you'll be smiling.
I think sometimes we get so caught up in our everyday hectic lives we forget to enjoy the little things.
If it is more than just the blues and more serious like depression. Seek medical help, whether it is a physician or a counselor or psychiatrist, get help. Talk to someone.
There is medication that can help.

Try to enjoy your work. Try to enjoy people around you. Try to enjoy your family and friends. Try to enjoy whatever you do on a daily basis. Limit your needs and desires. Pray more. Share your thoughts with your best friend. Speak more. Laugh more. You will be a happier person because you then live moment to moment of the challenge called L I F E.

SMILE, and spend a lot of time in the sunlight if you can. Eat your lunch out in the open air. Remember a time when things were slower and everything was happier. Don't dwell on DOOM and GLOOM! It takes less muscles to SMILE then to frown! Get outside and let the fresh air blow the stink off of you!

Each day when you wake up, make a choice to be happy. Start thinking about positive things in your life. Begin by naming things you are thankful for. Keep a positive attitude. Forgive yourself and others of anything that has been done wrong. Read the bible, pray. Become a Christian, if you aren't one allready. You will find much happiness in religion. You start by asking Jesus into your heart, confess that He is Lord and belive it in your heart. Read the book of John in the bible. Go to church and be around other happy people.

Don't sweat the small stuff. Start a relationship with God and let Him be in control. And laugh a lot. The Bible says "A merry heart does good, like medicine..." Proverbs 17:22

It depends on what is making you unhappy. If you are depressed, then you need to deal with that first. If you are just unhappy, then you need to change what is making you that way. If you make a list of what is making you unhappy, then beside it, try to come up with possible solutions. If the solutions are not coming to you, then you get someone to help you with them.
If you email me, I will help you with that, sometimes it's easier for someone who is not involved to come up with simple solutions that are hard to see when you are involved.
