You sound like such a nice guy. That is why I am finding it difficult to give you the right advice. I have been in your situation. In tenth grade I gave up my friends on the cheerleading squad for the fun crowd. It took a while for my old friends to completely vanish from my life, but that was the ultimate outcome. Now I am 23, attempting college for the 2nd time after4 years of constant, hardcore partying. Still, it sounds so glamourous to me, but I cannot stress the trouble my lifestyle caused me. I am just now getting back on track, but I moved away from my hometown, and it has been such a hard road. A road most people wouldn't make it half way, since the drugs are so much fun! You are going through changes in your life now that will affect your future. Be strong and stya straight if you can. If not, don't get TOO out of control!

They will find out one way or the other. The key point is "I just can't quit -- to be honest I kinda like doin that stuff." Well, I have news for you. We all like sinning. It feels good and that's why we don't want to quit. That is always the case. Never going to change until we wake up and realize that the consequences don't feel good at all. Some of us realize that early, some late and some never. However, play now and pay later, but watch out for the pay, its a real bummer.

If you like doing that stuff, then continue doing it! If you want to drink and smoke weed and hang out with people that do that stuff, that is your choice. However, remember that each choice that we make has consequences with it....
If your friends know that something is up, tell them about! Be honest with them about who you are and what you want out of life. If they can't accept that, they really aren't your friends. You have to be true to YOU, no matter what anyone else says. But don't ditch these people all together, because you might need them one day. Put them on hold and hang out with your new friends...and see what happens from there.
So call them up, or get them all together, and tell them what you are doing! Show them who you really are! They will be glad that you did, and so will you....

Well to be honest with you, WE can't help you. You have to help yourself. Don't feel bad cause you smoke tweed, ditch your real friends and then want us to give you advice. Look homie, if you want to tell your friends what you REALLY do, then tell them, they just might suprise you and not really care about the issue. And they will want to help you get on the straight and narrow o fthings. Better they heard it from you then someone else. And as far as quitting, you have to make that choice for yourself. Not trying you bash on you just being real. Take care of yourself.

Tell your friends the honest truth. Maybe they can find a way to help you - you really don't want to get into bad habits such as drinking and drugs.

Seems like you are moving away from your friends and liking spending time with a new set of friends. This is normal and happens all of the time.
