if you can't get good career in your job according to your education background, ..you can save your money that you have earned now and start to think your own business.

I think you better have your own business that match with your ability and specialty since you will get unlimited income than you have to go to work in office.

Good Luck

You have 2 more years until you reach the cut off age for most apprenticeships. If I were you I would complete my GED ASAP and apply for apprenticeship in a skilled trade like industrial mechanic, power plant operations, electrician...so on and so forth. You will have to understand how to take employment tests. I studied books on various types of tests, and used an egg timer to time how long it took to answer math, algebra, figure conversions, solve spatial problems, and answer basic physics questions. I'm sure there are webpages dedicated to these subjects now.

Another success path is to go to your states employment page and apply for civil service jobs. Federal civil service jobs are available too. If you use this path, be prepared to move to your new job's location.

Military training is also useful, if you decide to go that route. You can take tests for armed services training. From what I have seen the Navy and Air Force have the better training programs. You are 23, so you need to understand that if you go this route the gunnies and sargents will push you to your limit. If you wash out of your chosen field, the nav might make you a deck hand, and the AF might make you a driver.

Swift Trucking Company is always looking to train new truckers. They will train you for free, if you sign a two year trucking contract with them.

Good Luck

After the GED get a college education and get a good job. And there is only one way to be somebody - Be Yourself. If you have to change for the girl, then she's not worth it. Make sure the girl you get loves you for who you are not who she wants you to be.

Get your GED and have a plan for the future for yourself. Don't give up on it and do your best. Don't let things that aren't good get in the way of your future. Follow your dreams and be patient.

I think you are already on the right track... stay focused and do it for you... not for someone else... other such as your girlfriend will benefit... if she cares for you now, she'll only be even prouder of you with every achievent that you have... don't get sidetracked... and don't give up... it's not easy... and will never be... but you already have what it takes to succeed...

you know that education is the best treasure you can have i think you must talk to her that she must support you in your plan in your life but you must be hard working too and focused for your plan in the future. If she understand you situation it means that she care and love you but if she cannot understand your situation it means she doesn't care you.always remember that "In every sacrifice deserves a fruitful reward,In every failure there is always a second chance,We just to be strong to pres eves life."
