Why would a Muslim nation attack another Muslim nation?

They didn't say Syria bombarded Lebanon; they said Syria and Iran are beHIND LEbanon's bombing of ISrael.
On the contrary, Syria has controlled Lebanon for 25 years.

Syria and Iran would sacrifice the entire Lebanese population if it meant destroying Israel and making the U.S. look weak. By the way, it was Syria that assasinated Lebanese prime minister Rafik Hariri, following Syria's embarassing exit from Lebanon. Iran openly supports Hezbollah, which has essentially taken over Lebanon and rendered its duly elected government impotent. So indirectly, the actions of Syria and Iran have led to this.

Nobody's sayng Syria bombed Lebanon. Syria and Iran started the current mess by supplyng and controlling Hizbullah.

yes it is stupid but do remember arab countries are just as ignorant as the rest sometimes. remember saddam attacking kuwait? it has happened but the americans use this as a reason to get their paws on the oil. syria was defending lebonon. also u should look it up lebonon was not free from israeli occupation the jews still occupies some of lebonon. in shabat
