I believe the term created equal refers to the followings:
(1) Normal human beings are conceived and born by their mother
(2) All human being dies at a given time
(3) All normal human beings suffers same intensity of pain
(try hitting the finger of a rich and a poor person both of
them will feel the same pain)
I believe the term is just a religious stuff to compliment the blind faith of the faith fulls. Remember no things are identical even twins. Everything in this world exist differently, therefore nothing was created equal.

The statement pertains to the rights of all men, that is to say that no matter what their financial, physical, or intellectual situation, none is more of a man than another, and none should be viewed as superior in that capacity. All men should be judged as equals and respected as equals.
Additionally, many believe that the use of "man" here reflects "mankind," so it also should include women, though I supposed the term is sexist. Riches, good looks, intelligence, and health are subjective. Equal doesn't intend that all men and women have the same amounts and qualities.

It is the fact that no matter what you are (falling in the catagories you listed and more), you have the same rights as everyone else. Supposedly the law is blind to all of those things (but humans - who write and interpret the laws are not) and it should not matter who you are or your background, but the law will protect you just the same.
Supposedly, everyone is equal in the eyes of the law, and in the government.

It means we are have the ability to pursuit happiness. We are NOT given happiness. This is an ideal in the US. In this thought, we're born with the right/ability to pursuit happiness according to our desires, abilities, and personal resources.
We are all equal in the notion that in the US we are not considered advantaged or elite under the law because of wealth, social status, race, religion (although some would debate that). In other words, if you do the crime, you do the time despite your race, color, creed, or wealth in the US. Also conversely you reap your own rewards despite your race, color, creed, or wealth.

The proper version was, "All European, Democratic men are created equal." Now it's changed to "All Caucasian, blueblooded, Conservative men and their mindless drones are created equal. And even amongst them, some are more equal than others." As far as I'm concerned, it'll never mean "all men".

I'd like to quote Animal Farm here and say "All men are created equal-but some are more equal than others."

It sounds good though. And really all they really want is a good sound byte. That's an ideal that never was true in the world. You have to go to the spirituality section for that sort of thing and even there you won't find much evidence of it.
