identified..... Because the only time I have reported anyone was because it was a perv asking about a kid. Only reported someone once.

I would stand up for it...i don't think it is right that just anyone can report somethign....it may be over something stupid just to see if they can have you reported....Even if you are asking a serious question and really want to hear some peoples remarks....If they can report you...then you should be able to find out why exactly they are reporting you....I bet 9 out of 10 times they don't have a legit reason...they just do it for fun

I would be willing to stand up and be identified. No point in being brave enough to report someone then chicken out at the last.

I would be glad to identify myself. I asked a question and the answer I got was a plug for the person's home business. It was a commercial! Spam! So, yes. But I understand why someone might not want to. It's possible someone might retaliate. i am curious: why do you ask?

I've had to turn in abuse cases and if I needed to, I would stand up and be known. I'm not the abuser, so I have no problem pointing my finger at who is.

I usually tell people why I'm reporting them in the post.
I don't if it's just asking for it though, like bot-generated spam or someone who's just posting a lot of random foul language to see if it'll get removed.

Name me, Baby!
I won't turn in anyone unless it's REALLY vital and offends me personally. I would never turn in anyone unless I was SURE it was a viable offense. In that case I'm doing the right thing.
Also...I basically wouldn't turn in anyone unless the offense was bad enough to probably get them banned permanently. In that case I wouldn't have to worry about them...and I probably wouldn't be the only one turning them in.
Of course, they could always come back under a different name and turn me in, but if I hadn't done anything suspendable, then I wouldn't have to worry, now would I?
