Hey Neddie:
You said: "Christians say God is Great,,, Muslims say God is Great,,"
There's one major difference you failed to mention.... Chirstians don't say "God is Great" while we're sawing off your head with a machete.. Christians tend to look down on that sort of thing...

Well..the bible says "an eye for an eye", but it also says "turn the other cheek". So....I dont really have the answer, and apparently neither does anyone else or this conflict would have been resolved by now. I'd say these people will never get along, the way Israelites and Palestinians have never gotten along.
I'd say Christ would suggest a meeting with the leaders so that they could make their thoughts known to the other and peacefully resolve the issue.
What IS the issue anyway....anyone have a clue?

There will be no resolution to these wars. These are a fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy.
This tension started when Ishmael and his mother Hagar were sent away by Sarah and forced to make their way in the desert. God had promised Sarah that she would have a child by Abraham who would populate the Jewish nation as many as grains of desert sand. But Sarah was already approximately 80 years old. So, she sent her handmaid, Hagar, into Abraham. Abraham and Hagar had relations and Ishmael was born. However, after Ishmael was born, Sarah became pregnant with Isaac. When Isaac was born, Sarah noticed that Hagar was being more vocal about Ishmael being God's promise, and not Isaac. So, Sara cast out Hagar and Ishmael. Ishmael is the father of Islam---he has also been referred to as "Mohammed."
So, as you can see, this fight could be described as a constant family feud.
I believe this war will result in the destruction of the Mosque that now sits on the spot where Solomon's temple once stood. Then Israel will rebuild Solomon's Temple. When this is accomplished, Christ will return. All of that is prophecy.

This is a map showing the division of The Promised Land between the original 12 tribes of Israel. You will notice that all of the middle east, just about, was promised to the Jews. All of this land will belong to the Jews before these wars end. It's God's promise.

God will resolve the conflict sooner than people think. You should know this as even Satanist know it. The middle east will light each other up for a while and drag the rest of the world into it, and then "Shwing" in comes God. Death to all none believers! The End.

Since Jesus is a Jew, He would side with Israel.
And considering throughout the Bible, God told his people to basically eliminate their enemies.. I don't think Jesus would suggest anything much different. He would say, "Pray for your protection and stand up against your enemies". The other choice is to sit idley and let their enemies bully them and eventually wipe them off the face of the earth.
1. Israel already tried appeasement, but giving some land to the Palestians. They also agreed to the late Palestian leader's demands.. But he eventually rejected it.
2. They are surrouned by countries that would love to wipe them off the map.
There is nothing Israel can do to stop being tormented by their enemies. Absolutely nothing... except if every Jew committed Mass Suicide.
When they have an enemy whose goal is to commit genocide, there's nothing else left to do but to make sure that doesn't happen........ Using everytihng at your disposal.
Those of you who have read the Bible, know that Jesus will come back some day when the enemies of Israel surround them and they are no longer able to defend themselves.... and they eventually pray and call out to their Messiah.. due to the overwhelming forces massed against them.
And Jesus and his Angels will basically turn their enemies into ash.

I am not a Christian, but my understanding of the New Testament tells me that Jesus would probably have nothing to say about it. There were conflicts in that region in his day, and he ignored them. The Jews were hoping for a liberator from Roman oppression, and Jesus had no intention of freeing them politically.
So again, he would say nothing about it.

Jesus said love your neighbor as you love yourself. He also said to love your enemies, and forgive them. The combatants are likely not Christians as a christian must live their life like Christ to call themselves 'Christian". A thorough reading of the New Testament would give a pretty good understanding of what Jesus suggests as this would apply to all conflicts.

Jesus came to bring peace between man and God, NOT between man and man.
Until there is peace between man and God, there can be no peace between man and man.
Jesus' "suggestions" would be, and still are, consistent with what He "suggested" during His ministry over 2000 years ago.
John 14:6
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 16:33
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."
and from Paul, servant of Jesus:
1Corinthians 5:16-21
16 So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer.
17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!
18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting men's sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
20 We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.
21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

More than anything, Jesus preached love. I think that he would want us ("us" meaning everyone involved in the conflict) to settle this conflict peacefully. I don't think even He would believe any land, holy or not, is worth all this. But that's just my interpretation of His message. ;-)

Whichever religion they belong, the religious chauvunism makes people unhappy. One belinging to a particular religion should not compel others to follow them like sheep.
They should not offer money and wealth to adopt the religion.
Hindus in the world never compel others and never offers wealth to join them.
If this practice is taken for practice by every other religion , there will not any complicacies.
