Hi. I'm going to be a sophomore in high school. I'm 15, Chinese/Taiwanese American, 5'2 1/2", 116 pounds. No, this is NOT an advertisement! Not to entirely complain, I do have a BF. But I was looking back during my middle school and freshmen year and I never really had many people crushing on me or thinking im cute/pretty. I'm not ugly, yet not model gorgeous. I wouldn't want people thinking WOW SHE'S HOT or whatnot. I'm both hyper and can be mature. I'm not a prep, I'm more of a rocker or punk. Yet I'm a very innocent child. I hate alcohol, I'd never try to smoke or do drugs, I'm not into clubs, and I've only kissed a guy once (spin the bottle). So I'm curious, what is so unlikeable about me? Could anyone pinpoint anything? It bothers me sometimes not knowing why people wouldn't "have a crush on me" (not that I would want attention though, I don't like being the center of attention). Maybe a way to improve myself? What do you think?

This sounds horrible, and quite frankly it is, but maybe you're in a school with few Asians. Yeah, Americans are getting smarter and becoming less racist, but racism is still alive and well. For some people, its okay to have friends of other races but not to date.
It is also possible that you're shy.
I wouldn't sweat it yet though. You are just at the beginning of the curve and sooooo many of the boys are too shy to say who they are crushing on (this will change very quickly...15/16 is about the time boys get braver.
Plus you hear about who is crushing on someone else, you might not hear who is crushing on you, so the shy guy that finds you hot may just not be brave enough to tell you or your friends.
As teens mature, they begin to look for people they find interesting. Common interests will bring you together.
So stay active. Do the stuff you like to do, no point in faking stuff to get a boy, you won't enjoy it.
You are right to be yourself, because you really only want a boy to like the real you.

Sounds like you are entirely likeable... but what's the hurry? You have plenty of time to have guys all over you. And let me fill you in on a little secret... the guys who are actively crushing on girls are the ones you want to stay away from. They are the ones who will dump you if you don't sleep with them, later on. Not kidding. Don't look at them and wish you had that kind of attention because it will mess with you're self esteem. The guys who are too shy or nice or respectful to make a move are the ones who turn out to be the rockstars!

Some people don't see the beauty in others, no matter what you do.
You need to just be yourself. Someday the RIGHT guy will come along and he'll like you for who you are, not what you do or how you act.
