do you mean, like for example, you searched for 'lyrics' once before and now whenever you search something starting with an 'l', 'lyrics' pops up as what your possibly typing? if so, then u put your mouse on 'lyrics' so that its highlighted and then press 'delete' on your keyboard. if thats not what your talking about, then i have no clue how to help you, 2 points for me.

go to tools, internet options and under history clickt the CLEAR HISTORY button.
Also while you are there, click the DELETE FILES, button and check the Delete all offline content and hit OK.
This will do and it will also clear all the addresses on the address bar.

hold your mouse down on the bar and press delete until you get rid of all your search history

1- open internet explorer, go tool bar then internet options,then
delete cookies ,delete file, clear history

when the search tips.... come down...u know what im talkin bout....???? hit delete... for every one............
