No, you can't watch cable TV on your computer with cable internet. However, many of the popular TV networks offer re-runs of their shows online, and these are only viewable with a broadband connection like cable internet.
You could also download ripped TV shows from other users using things like BitTorrent, but that's illegal.

Yes, but you have to buy a TV tuner card....I bought one, it's actually nice, it has a coaxial plug in the back, and you can watch and record your shows to video files. I think I paid around $30 for mine...
The tuner card also works if you just hook it to an antenna, and you can watch local channels.

Simply having cable internet will not allow you to view television via your computer.
If you want to receive and display an ntsc signal via your computer you'll need a tv tuner card.

My chum, you like no longer hassle approximately this. you have 2 thoughts. the two you purchase living house windows XP Media center version or purchase a blend television field. Then get a cable connection after which you would be able to watch television channels on your pc. good luck.
