Before I can answer this properly I must first explain what being smart actually is. first of all there are many different kinds of intelligence, for example some people think more constantly about music then others - this applies to many different kinds ideas, another point is that intelligence is actually divided into three parts - the first is where you first grasp an idea but you do not understand it enough to explain it - lets name this wisdom, the second part is where you can also explain the Idea very well - lets name this understanding, the third part is where you concentrate very deeply about an idea until you actually become one with it - meaning this idea is very much a part of you - lets name this da'as, now in answer to your question concerning the three parts that I have just mentioned, it can be said that men have more wisdom ( meaning that first thought) - although women also have some of this wisdom, Women have more understanding (meaning they are much quicker & better at being able to explain an idea) - although men also have some of this understanding, men have more da'as (meaning they are more likely to think & concentrate deeply about an idea untill they become one with it) - although women also have some of this da'as. So in short women & men are smart in different areas. In another issue - in schools when it's mixed in the classroom, boys don't do as well as girls, how ever when they are separate meaning there is less distractions then they do very well. keep in mind that from every rule there is exeptions to the rule, and if I need someone to explain an idea to me very well most probably a woman will do a better job at it, (as long as she gets straight to the point when explaining to some men).

Neither. All people have different IQs, but in the general; men and woman both excel in different areas for instance woman are better a viewing something through a microscope while men are more adapt at looking through a large window. women are better multitaskers while men are more able to deeply focus on one thing. Think back to who was the hunter and who was the gatherer. (something I read in Scientific American once.)

Both are smart, we come across some pretty stupid people (in our opinion), but when it comes down to it, that stupid anoying person has his or her own talent we simply dont care to notice.
