What the heck is going on with mtv? i've come to terms with the lack of music but im tired of them showing spoiled rich kids all the time

I agree with you 100%. I used to be an MTV junkie, back in the 80s, when they actually did play music. I work with a teenager, and he was watching a show where an unbelievably spoiled and rude girl wanted an extravagant party for her 16th birthday. She had to have EVERYTHING just the way she wanted it, and the part that made me really sick was that she had to make an "entrance", it was all that really mattered to her, and the party was planned around it. I just couldn't believe it. MTV is unwatchable now, well at least for people over 30!

Mtv sux.....and just not to people over 30........I'm 25, and can actually remember when they played at least a little more music. Its just pulp culture run out of control. And we wonder why kids today are so self centered and just generally dumb............Blow up the T.V.,,,,,,,,,,,,

yea i dont ever watch mtv any more b/c it sux with out music! thats the whole point of it is to have music...it is called music tv
