You have to be kidding me.... The term politically incorrect came from liberals. Sit in a college classroom, with a liberal teacher, and defend conservatism and see where your grade goes. Open minded give me a break.

I'm a mixed bag. Fiscally conservative, socially moderate. I guess closer to a "paleocon" than a "neocon". I believe that the federal government should be taxing us less, spending less money, and in general, keeping out of our lives except where it's truly necessary. I have no use for the Thought Police of the left, or the Morality Police of the right.
As for the current federal government, I'm sorely disappointed with Congress. The Republicans promised us that things would be different when they were in charge - after all, they used to represent limited government - but that doesn't seem to have happened. I'm not entirely happy with everything the President has done either, but the Democrats, having gone sharply to the left in the last several years, haven't given me an alternative I can seriously consider. So, until the Democrats move back toward the center, or a viable third party enters the picture, I hold my nose and vote Republican.

I think if you look at all of my views, I am probably somewhere in the middle, closer to liberal than conservative. I choose that because that is how I feel, and liberals tend to have similar beliefs to my own. I vote on the issues - not the party. But if you took my voting history, I tend to go more democrat. Again, they have similar thoughts on the issues that I have. It has nothing to do with hating the other side - it's just what I feel is right, and what I believe. I follow my views.

Localist. I am listening to a book about the French-Indian war (also called the 7 years War), and I like that term.
I think that if we don't take care of our own local needs and conduct ourselves in a trustworthy manner with our neighbors, then there really is no future for our country.
Much like the constitution protects the individual's rights in order to ensure that mobs don't take over, Localists want protection against globalised exploitation by corporations and countries that overpower local business, politics, and community relationships.

Moderate, though the more I hear Ann Coulter and see all the Bush and Cheney Lie's it makes me more Liberal.
I hate to say it but conservatism is dead. Polls done by fox news even say conservatives are going to lose big this election. I think America has had enough.

I thought I was Liberal. But according to a test I took, most of my beliefs, outside personal issues, position me as more of a Libertarian Centrist. But I consider a Liberal Centrist, left of center.
