My favourite conspiracy is THE LEVIATHAN conspiracy. Its brought up by Hobbes but basically says that we were tricked as free agents into something called "civilization" that we sacrifice certain liberties for the added security of the state. The state once it trickes us into this "tacit consent" that we give by being born in it has a dintinct mission and conspiracy to ensure our fear and paranoia of something, anything to make us want its power over us. If you want to see its evils at work look at the native Americans, the persecution of European gypsies or African Bedouin tribes or Asian nomadic herdsfolk. This is one BIG conspiracy to help"settle" all the world's individuals into states and power blocks.
This is The Leviathan Theory.

The October Surprise
Which ties into iran-contra.
That when the hostages were taken by the iranians (back under Jimmy Carter) that George Bush senior, acting to represent Ronald Reagan, went to Khomeni, and arranged for them to keep the hostages, until the day Reagan was inaugerated as president. To discredit Carter, and make it seem like the iranians were afraid of Ronnie.
Tie in to iran-contra. The shipping of arms and spare parts for their american made military hardware was payment for keeping the hostages until after the elections.

My person favorite is the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank being an instrument of private banking concerns particularly the Rothschild's Bank thereby relinquishing control of the money supply from the government to private interests. This would mean that all transactions since its inception would be illegal including the IRS and even any loans I or you would have made in our lifetimes null and void.

I like the Irish conspiracy.

The Irish represent a 14% minority in America yet they hold 75% of all public offices.

Follow our Elected officials back for a few decades and the only one not of Irish decent is Eisenhower.

Toss in the Speakers of the House the CIA heads it is a vast consortium of Irishmen

Mine happens to be the Huston Plan, formulated in 1970.

Tom Charles Huston, an aide to President Nixon drafted a plan which "will enable [the Nixon White House] to curtail the illetgal activities of those who are determined to destroy our society."

At a meeting with Vice Admiral Noel Gaylor of the NSA, Director Richrad Helms of teh CIA, Donald Bennett of the Defense Intelligence Agency and J. Edgar Hoover. Huston contradicted Hoover in front of his peers and demanded a list of techniques for use against left-wing radicals in "the living present."

Hoover balked and effectively killed the plan whee he stated to Nixon that he would do it, only on written authortity from either Nixon or John Mitchell.

This is not my favorite, but it is one of the strangest that I have heard, it is that all Japanese cars will simultaneously explode to get back at the US for World War II.
