My x-b/f and I started talking again.
He has a girlfriend.
Well, he told me he still liked me.
I still like him dearly.
I want to date him again, but he is VERY hesitant because of our rocky past.
I understand why he doesn't, but I want him to know I've changed.
Also, he claims he loves his girlfriend, but I'm friends with SEVERAL of his friends and he doesn't really like her. He told me he was fed up with her.
I don't want anyone to get hurt but I really want to be with this kid.

dont do it, its not worth it...he says he loves his girlfriend, but still likes you..what if YOU were his gf, and he liked someone else? and if he says that he loves his gf, but his friends say otherwise, maybe hes lying. that is definately NOT something you want in a relationship. itll take time for you to get over him, but dont worry, theres someone out there that will take good care of you. best of luck.

People do not really change. If things were rocky before, they will be again. In very rare cases after a breakup you both may realize that everyone else in the world sucks and they are perfect, but that is very rare. If he claims to 'Love' his current Girlfriend, let it go. He's just leading you on so that you don't date one of his friends. Let him go, someone else likes you just the way you are.

Your probably not going to like my answer, but here it is. Do his friends really know what he likes better than he does? I wouldn't rush into things right away if you like him as much as it sounds. Hang out with him in groups, one-on-one, but don't do anything either of you would regret. If he really does like you he will tell you when hes feeling more comfortable to get serious with you again. It may be hard, but the end result is whats important. Good Luck!

Your Ex is an Ex for a reason. The fact that he is making moves on you while he is with someone else is a big sign that he doesn't have respect for relationships. Don't be encouraged by what his friends say about this girl - who knows what they told other people about you.

A fromer girlfriend of mine did the same thing to me. He's playing with your head honey! He wants to get your hopes and emotions up, just to crush them one more time, so he and his new squeeze can get the last laugh. Cut your losses with him and walk away

Wasn't he "fed up" with you just a little while ago? The odds are high it will be like that again.

i think it would depend on if he really loves this girl,or if his friends are just saying that.i think the best thing for you to do is really sit down with him and talk to him on how he really feels.if he really is happy then let him be happy youll have to let him go that way,but not as a friend.!!
