I am serious. it can take as many twists and turns as you wish. it can be a myster/love/sci-fi/horror/historical memoir if we make it that way.
Or whatever comes ocross our collective minds.
I would like to stress the fact that this should be at least semi serious and that you should read ALL OF THE PRIOR POSTS!
That way you will be able to contribute. secondary to this I would ask that you not modify your post, except for grammar and spelling.
One final plea:
Please do not do it all by yourself. 6 paragraphs max.
I will start:
Lighting cracked the mirror of night.
It was a shadowless world filled with terrible wonders.
"Could anything good have happened?
On a night like this?
After a day like today?", Jordan said to himself as he examined his torn shirt.
Soon he would have his answer.

OK this can be fun or cool or deep and interesting, but you must FOLLOW the storyline as it is left to you! you can change it (I hope there will not be too many and then we woke up stunts as it will RUIN the story)
IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO ADD TO THE STORY, MOVE ON AND DO NOT CLICK THE ANSWER BUTTON P-L-E-A-S-E!
You will have your chance to comment on the 'story' when it is finished and PLEASE
DO NOT BE A JERK AND JUMP IN WITH SOME B.S. AND TYPE THE END. THIS IS MY post and I want to see what we can do
storywise.

With a start, Jordan sat up. At first, he didn't know where he was or what was happening. A glimmer of thought regarding Sharon was all that prickeled his mind. The droning sound to his right, caused him to glance over, then edge back with a start. Sharon was in the chair, but shrouded by a dark myst.
His memory was in ful force as he recalled the darkness that had been decending in the lightning flash previously. Escape...this was his only avenue. There was nothing to be done for Sharon now. The book on the coffee table remained strangely locked, as Jordan recalled the initial reason for coming to see Sharon.
She had sounded edgy, this was completly unlike Sharon. Her character was as tough as her hardened heart and deadly instincts. Whatever put her on edge, must have been what put that knife through her as well. The fact that anyone could overpower Sharon was still a surprise. There wasn't anyone as quick, strong, or smart as Sharon when it came to survival.
This dark myst over her was not an anyone though. In a scampering scramble, Jordan leaped over the flipped ottoman, skidded on Gramma' sold hand knitted throw rug ( the one she made out of plastic bread bags) snatched the book from it's resting place, and bolted for the door!

But little did Jordan know, but a dark spirit was watching and as the lightning flashed, he caught a glimpse of it coming towards him. He yelled but there was no one to help him. He runs towards the door, it won't open. Frantic, he runs up the long staircase into the study and closes the door. He feels safe for the moment.
As he leaned on the door panting from being out of breath, he saw Sharon in the study. She looked sad. He walked over to talk to her and as she turned around, the shock and horror of seeing the knife buried into her chest was too much. He passed out and fell to the floor.

Okay, that is a great idea but it has to be more formalised and organised. I would personally love to participate...
until I read your opening paragraph. That is really, really bad writing, my friend. Sorry.
You need to consider where it is you're going with the story first.
The mirror of night? What???
Reflecting what, exactly? Just sounds cool? Okay...it's bad.
Stephen King says, "Murder your darlings." That's the first one out of the box to kill, k?
Here's my book...

he twisted the torn fabric around his fingers, wishing her could forget the events of the day. How had it started? he thought back to the events of that morning, and of all the descions since then. he sighed, running a hand across his face. he was tired.
