Bush lied to start the Iraq war. He cut taxes for billionaires. Cost of the war + cost of the tax cut for billionaires has put the country a trillion dollars in debt to Communist China. Now with Hezbollah attacking Israel there isn't a lot the US can do. China is backing Iran, which is backing Hezbollah, so everybody knows China can just demand the trillion dollars and the US is bust. Also easing up on environmental regulations was a bad idea. Global warming seems to be taking off. Jury's still out on that though. There are stats recently published showing birth defects in the US are now the highest ever. Same thing happened in Texas when Bush was Gov. there--his environmental regs (voluntary) gave Texas the highest rate of cancer and of birth defects in the country. Its a shame. I don't know if the US can ever get out from under the problems he has created. It might be able to survive, but as a much weaker, poorer, more ignorant, less educated, more polluted and sick country. That is what the people voted for. Too bad.

It's OK dude. Everyone make mistakes. You should be happy that your father is probably the only Bush voter who actually admits and says sorry for his bad vote. But hey, it wouldn't have mattered in 04 anyway, because the Bush cronies rigged the polls. Remember when they found IR receivers on the polls, and the turning away of black people from the polls?
