Ok look at this...
After All-Star break.
If the mets go 35-35 the rest of the year (they will do better than that against the NL) they would finish: 90-72
the braves would have to go 46-23 to win 90 games.
So, anyone really think the Mets will play .500 ball the rest of the season and the Braves will go 23 games over .500
You guys have no chance (got this off other person)

You guys are crazy the braves have to win 67% of their next games to reach 90 wins
AND this is just if the Mets ONLY win 50% of their next games. If Mets even win 36-34 they win.

I said nothing about the Met's dominating. I just said all they have to do is win a reasonable amount of games. Braves have to win a huge amount more.

well im a huge braves fan....the only problem is im a huge brewers fan as well... i still think the braves have a shot at the wildcard...but ik the division is out of reach...it was a great run...even though i missed most of the greatness (im 16 so i dont remember all that much)

Braves are awesome right now! I loved the braves since I first learned english lol 1986! Right now they are beating the Cards 14-5 top of the 8th. Andruw Jones just knocked in his second homer of the game! They are on fire! They will make the playoffs! Playoffs without the Braves? That is impossible!

just b/c the mets have dominated so far doesnt necessarily mean they'll do the same for the rest of the season. however, i do think its a long shot for the braves to win the division, but they'll definitely be contending for the wild card
