Both male and female. I know a fair amount about when they're ~14+ (and in any case, there are plenty of sites to research that age further), but what about a younger child of ~2-13 years? I haven't been able to find anything on it.

If anyone could give me any information, provide links to sites that discuss it, or even suggest books on the topic that I could read, I'd be grateful.

They would have a nurse until they were weaned, then a nanny until they were about 6, then a governess. They would also begin learning to ride a horse. They would only be seen by their parents about once a week, to see if they were all right and to be updated on their progress.

they were probably brought up by nannies or a wet nurse. Check anything about any of the regency era royal family. THey all had kids. Pick a specific person and research their biography. Thats the best I can offer.
