Maybe we're just lonely people and aren't smart enough to answer questions. (Sorry for the sarcasm). Seriously maybe some people, after asking or answering a few questions, just see an opportunity to get to know like minded people and use this site as an opportunity. I haven't pursued this option but the possibility is there to eventually make some E "pen" pals. (Don't worry, I am not going use this question/answer to pursue this.) Or for others, to seek friendship through chatrooms.

Because I have lived life, enjoyed many new things and the best new thing I can do repeatedly, is meet new people, even if it is very briefly threw Yahoo Answers.
If I can help someone that's great!
But the biggest pleasure I have is when some of the questions remind me of things in my own personal life, that were fun and I enjoy reliving those precious memories and sharing some as well.
Especially the ones that make me laugh, and if you laugh as too, thing it is well worth the time it takes to share life with someone new.

Probably becuz they have nothing else to do. I have a problem with people who answer questions with answers like "good question" or "i dont know" they do this just to get the points! How rude!

because they have nothing better to do....
its kind of annoying....but well...ok...not that annoying....its not like theyre iming you and annoying you or anything....so it doesnt really matter...they just lose points and such by asking people to chat...
