Does anyone think Myspace is degrading!?

Does anyone here think myspace is disgusting for teenagers and the information they put out over the internet. I do. I may be old fashioned but I think some of the stuff on there is plain and simple degrading.

Well, it sure is a pity about the kind of stuff that the youngsters post in Myspace and 360* and so on.

But then, let's consider that these things are actually like knives. They can be used for constructive or destructive purposes. Like you can perform a surgery with the same kind of knife or scalpel that you can kill somebody with.

It's those kids that are to blame, not the Media, don't you think?

It's like any public Internet forum. There will be a whole range of information, from brilliantly enlightening to basely disgusting. It's the price that we pay for having an uncensored, free speech oriented, open forum. I would much rather practice some personal choice and filtering in what I view than have what I can or can't post dictated to me.

its not the stuff on there.... its the people on there who put the stuff there. if the girls are sluts, its gonna happen anywhere, not just myspace. you an see that if you try to play yahoo pool. myspace has mno responsibility for anything anyone puts on there, and they shouldnt have to look at every site to make sure its appropriate. its not our fault the parents dont know how to look after their kid properly.
